Before you go running after links or settling into a daily routine of writing articles and taking part in forum discussions you need to be sure your own site is correct in all aspects. Quite often doing this takes a website to the top without any need for routine.

Take a look at this page:
    http://howtoseo.link2light.com/how-to-seo-your-website_plan.php

which is a step by step guide on what you need to do BEFORE link building.

Also you don’t need to become obsessed with adding new content all the time. Some of the pages at number one of the search engines have not changed in years.

I don’t have a daily routine personally. I jump around a bit, for example, if something newsworthy comes up, I’ll do a press release. Content creation and syndication are pretty much a steady strategy for me. Growing your site and getting backlinks through syndication are both helpful for SEO.

If you’re interested in learning about syndicating articles you can read about it here: http://www.seodiscovery.org/link-building-strategies/article-marketing

Hi, given that you are asking about specific web site examples, here is the
recent ‘try out’ web site, which relies on the wisdom of the crowd for SEO.

    http://seo-crowd.com

The idea is to collect SEO Guides (tips and tricks to SEO ) from the SEO crowd
(you and me ;-) ), and to share it with the community.

The authors of SEO Guides can put their own ads on their guides, so you can also
earn some extra cache if your guides are useful and popular. But it is definitely not
get rich fast program, please don’t be confused!

Of course, everybody is welcome to try the web site and to write their guides, like the one suggested by ‘Doodled’… The web site is very new and the time is required to see if it will fly ;-)

[P.S: My daily routine will be to apply all the collected tricks to http://seo-crowd.com ;) ]
